Stipes added: c-pillar (red, white), beltline (white, body), hood/roof (white, green, red). Decals added: Shell (front wing), Pebble Beach (rear quarter). This is by a wide margin the most I've ever invested in a FM4 livery, although it's so much easier and more fun when it's your own design.
This is a slightly older version with a black hood stripe and no Shell or Pebble Beach decals.

Like the retro feel, but can't say I'm diggin it personally.
Keep painting though. I've had plenty of designs I thought were rough until I finally got them to look right.

The short answer is I don't; the long is that I eyeball it. I made the logo in the decal creator (or whatever it's called) and it was a bastard. Things didn't line up, letters came out different sizes to one another; that oval shape around the "PB" by itself took almost as much time as the letters.
All told, that decal only looks as good as it does because it actually spans the entire side of the car unaltered. I have a feeling that decreasing its size so much and the fuzz from the off-screen photo are really what make it passable.

Making the decals huge by default is actually how the pros do it, so there's nothing wrong with it.

Im no kind of graphic artist and I dont really have an interest in it but I do really enjoy replicating liveries in forza. I dont do the crazy modern ones so much but the simpler classic ones are fun and very satisfying to complete. Like a puzzle that you have to make the pieces for.
